A Brief History of Winslow, Arizona

As a virtual complement to our physical exhibits, the Old Trails Museum presents A Brief History of Winslow, Arizona, a short film that illustrates the city’s major historical themes through historic and contemporary images along with filmed segments. Developed by OTM Director Ann-Mary Lutzick and Winslow Historical Society Board Member Lori Bentley Law in 2020, the film provides a basic overview of Winslow’s history and gives viewers a framework to absorb even more information whenever they visit one of Winslow’s many historic sites and buildings. History Minutes with the Old Trails Museum

In 2021, OTM developed History Minutes with the Old Trails Museum, a series of pre-recorded spots highlighting artifacts from The Story of Winslow exhibit on the museum floor and encouraging listeners to come see them in person. The spots were created by OTM Director Ann-Mary Lutzick, who thanks Maree McHugh for her production expertise and Loy Engelhardt of KINO Radio (1230 AM), the local station that graciously aired the series from March through November 2021.

OTM has combined the audio and images into short videos that are posted on the OTM YouTube Channel so that the information is permanently available. The link to each video is provided here:
